Welcome to IT6933

My name is Seyedamin Pouriyeh, in short Amin, an Assistant Professor of Information Technology at Kennesaw State University (KSU).  I received a M.Sc. in Information Technology Engineering and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Shiraz University and the University of Georgia (UGA) respectively in 2009 and 2018. I started my career as a full-time lecturer at UGA in August 2018 and then joined KSU in January 2019.  My primary research interests span machine learning and cybersecurity.

In this course, you will learn about applications of contemporary machine learning techniques in FinTech 

There are 7 content modules in this course – one for each week, one research project, and one test. 

Online students should log into course in D2L within the first week of the class begin to confirm their attendance. There is no attendance monitoring, but your timely submission of assignments and labs and quizzes will be counted towards your presence and continued interests in the course.
